For two days, two members of the NeverEnding Disney traveled from Massachusetts to Providence for an event at the Dunkin Donuts Center. There are several hotel options within a close, e.g. walking distance, to the events location. The walk from the front doors of the hotel to our destination was approximately 3 minutes. It was a beautiful, sunny fall day, so the walk was quick and easy.
In addition to the event, our goal was to find a hotel with disability friendly amenities. The Hilton Providence includes a heated indoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center. An on-site restaurant, The Vig, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual environment. Just outside the doors, is a Starbucks. It is technically on-site but you have to leave the hotel to get to it.
Rooms include free Wi-Fi access, a flat-screen TV, coffee makers and work desks with ergonomic chairs.
NeverEnding Disney researches and highlight disability-friendly travel, hotels, activities, and trips.
